This is a short interview of how EDAG Inc. (U.S.) supports the automotive community and how it deals with the transition from traditional mechanical engineering to the trends within automotive development where electrics and electronics play an increasing role. EDAG supports the community with its team and their competencies in automotive development by helping both OEMs and suppliers integrate new systems into vehicles. Furthermore their team has competencies in design and software development. EDAG is working on a project with BMW to help develop future generations of driver assistance systems to meet the requirements of highly automated and autonomous driving.
